Chili with a Twist!
In my oven right now and for the next few hours sits a Turkey Chili, with Sweet potatoes, carrots, onions and garlic and a whole bunch of other goodies. I LOVE slow cook food, it brings out the best in every flavor, plus I had the time today to do that since my dad came over to play with the boys while I prepped.

Treats!
Yesterday Jacob and I made energy balls. They had Hazelnuts, Chia seeds, coconut oil, almond butter, almonds, sunflower seeds, re-hydrated mango and apricots. Then we rolled them into little balls and coated with shredded un-sweetened organic coconut. Put them in the freezer and they are the perfect pick-me-up for the afternoon snack. I am always trying to find healthy and tasty treats for my growing boys that I can feel 100% good about.

First day of fun!
Today I begin in prepping for a class being held at my moms on Palmistry and Hand-Analysis. There are a few picky eaters so I have prepped a fairly simple, easy menu for the meals that I am cooking. I have prepped bunches and bunches of carrots to go in the Carrot,Cashew and Ginger soup and for the Diary free cream of mushroom soup. This is the very yummy recipe for the cream of mushroom soup.http://www.nourishingmeals.com/2009/07/cream-of-mushroom-soup-dairy-free.html and I am tripling the recipe for leftovers cause it is soooooo delish!
